A self-taught baker and cheesecake enthusiast, Edwin has always been a creative and curious person by nature. And when he was young, he was allowed to observe his mother – an excellent cook – working her magic in the kitchen.
This inspired him to take an interest in cooking as well as baking. At the age of just 12, he baked his first cake for a childhood friend. Complete with rich icing and neatly scripted birthday greetings on the top, this remarkable culinary achievement was his first sweet taste of success and marked the beginning of a lifelong love for baking that has lasted till this day.
